Mystic Autumnal Embrace: Amanita Regalis Wreath with Amethyst Alchemy

  • Crafting this wonderful wreath demanded meticulous attention and time, taking approximately 9 hours to bring to life.
  • Each Amanita mushroom has been delicately sculpted using Fimo polymer clay and takes roughly 3 1/2 hours to create both mushrooms. I like to sculpt their bases around some aluminium wire so that I can secure them to each wreath once complete.
  • After the baking process, I water down some white acrylic paint and apply 4 layers to each mushroom stalk, skirt and gills. Watered down dark tones are added to areas to enhance details further.
  • I then add another 4 layers of watered down beige to the mushroom hats, ensuring every coat of paint is fully cured before adding the next layer.
  • The speckles are intricately painted onto the hat of the mushroom in a form that mimics the mushrooms natural white speckles. The whole painting process takes about 3 hours to complete.
  • Once my replicated Amanita mushrooms are complete, I carefully secure them to these wonderful grape vine wreaths using their inner wire, adding a magical Amethyst crystal point and using Epoxy glue to help secure everything. I have added my favourite artificial soil/moss mixture. This takes 2 hours, because I build up the layers to replicate the forests floors natural shape and form.

From the depths of a local Welsh woodland's embrace, where ancient trees whisper tales and secrets of yore, comes forth an autumnal wreath drenched in magic and whimsy.

With delicately crafted Amanita Regalis mushrooms, their forms and hues have been sculpted and painted to perfection with a breathtsking colour palette. They emerge like treasures of the underbrush.

In this Autumnal wreath, a singular Amethyst crystal point stands aside of these Amanita, protecting them from any forbidden, bad energies.

Revered through ages, Amethyst is said to purify the aura with its gentle vibrations, bestowing upon it's beholders clarity, tranquility, and a deepened sense of spirituality.

It's lavender hues embody the serene energies of the natural world, providing a calming counterpoint to the bustling change of the season.

Settled amidst this spellbinding scene, artificial moss and grass tenderly grow and cradle the Amanita, painting an image of the mushroom's sanctified natural habitat.

Foraged with care, acorn tops and "miniature pine-cones" from the local Welsh forests punctuate the wreath, whispering tales of crisp air, rustling canopies, and woodland lore.

This special wreath is a symphony of fall, fantasy, and forest enchantments. For the souls drawn to mushrooms, moss, and the mysterious realms of fae, this centrepiece is a cherished dream manifested in form and colour.

A true relic for fairy aficionados and fantasy seekers, promising to transport its onlookers into tales as ancient and wild as the forests themselves.
