Autumnal Enrichment: Amanita Regalis Wreath & Quartz Crystal Alchemy

  • Crafting this wonderful wreath demanded meticulous attention and time, taking approximately 8 hours to bring to life.
  • This wonderful Amanita mushroom has been delicately sculpted using Fimo polymer clay and takes roughly 2 hours to create. I like to sculpt the stalk of the mushroom around some aluminium wire so that I can secure them to each wreath once complete.
  • After the baking process, I water down some white acrylic paint and apply 4 layers to the mushroom stalk, skirt and gills. Watered down dark tones are added to areas to enhance details further.
  • I then add another 4 layers of watered down beige to the mushroom hat, ensuring every coat of paint is fully cured before adding the next layer.
  • The speckles are intricately painted onto the hat of the mushroom in a form that mimics the mushrooms natural white speckles. The whole painting process takes about 3 hours to complete.
  • Once my replicated Amanita mushroom is complete, I carefully secure it to these wonderful grape vine wreaths using the inner wire, adding Quartz crystal points and using Epoxy glue to help secure it. I have added my favourite artificial soil/moss mixture and some foraged acorn tops. This takes 3 hours, because I build up the layers to replicate the forests floors natural shape and form.

Whisked from the heart of a Welsh forest's embrace, a circle of autumn magic awaits. Here, amidst the cascading hues of fall, the Amanita Regalis mushrooms spring forth – each one hand-sculpted and painted with an artist's touch, alive in their ethereal realism.

As you draw closer, twin quartz crystal points shimmer, pulsing with energies ancient and pure. Let them recharge your soul, bringing nature's harmonies straight to your heart.

Artificial moss and grass gently cradle these treasures, painting a verdant tableau of the mushrooms' sacred dwelling. As a final nod to the forest's gift, authentic acorn tops, tenderly foraged from Welsh woodlands, whisper tales of ancient trees and age-old legends.

This isn't just a wreath; it's an ode to autumn, a hymn to the mystical. For those who tread the line between our world and the world of fae, who find solace in mushrooms, moss, and age-old legends, this centrepiece is a dream spun in color and craft.

Hear the call, fairy aficionados and fantasy lovers: here is an artifact of enchantment, a treasure to be cherished through every autumnal eve.
